What I'm actually working on, reading, and thinking about.
Where I am
Orlando, FL. Hasn't changed for almost 7 years now. Right now I'm in the "thick of it" as people say. Raising a 2 year old and a 5 month old. Trying to get back into some sort of exercise rhythm and eat just marginally better. And trying to remove as much screen time from my life as I can with intentional tech choices. Grayscale screen all the way.
What I'm building
- dinofavarajr.com (this site) . Building a home base for everything I make.
- Disney park content for 2026 . I'm approaching this year of content completely differently than last year. Lots of creative swings last year. But this year I'm going to stick to a few consistent formulas and focus on SPEED.
- YouTube Growth Playbook . Trying to get all my knowledge out into a repeatable system that lives in a database somewhere instead of my brain.
What I'm consuming
Reading
Dune by Frank Herbert
Been at it for about a year. It's dense, rewarding, and I just discovered there's an appendix. AN APPENDIX!? Nobody told me.
A Guide to the Good Life by William B. Irvine
An intro to Stoicism that's actually readable. Slowly working its way into how I think about work and what I choose to care about.
Watching
One Piece Live Action: Season 2
It's better than people say. Yes, it's corny. But One Piece IS corny. So it's perfect. Every casting choice is beautifully done. It's believable, doesn't take itself too seriously, and feels just like the anime. Which is exactly what it should be.
Also: Survivor Season 50. Christian Hubicki is my spirit animal.
Listening
Wes Huff podcast appearances
The man is a walking bible encyclopedia and I'm here for it. Jenny and I listened to his episode of Joe Rogan on the way to the beach the other day and it got us hooked.
Alex Hormozi business clips
Don't agree with his philosophy of life. But the man takes complicated situations and makes them simple and actionable. That part I love.
Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination by Neal Gabler
Audiobook. Two failed businesses before he ever really succeeded. And somehow convinced a surprising number of people to work for him for free. On vision alone. It's making me think hard about what I can offer people beyond money.
The cure for everything.
What I'm obsessed with
- Single-use tech . A device that does one thing well. No notifications, no rabbit holes. Just the thing.
- Journaling . I currently have four different journals for different purposes. Yes, four. No, I will not explain.
- Retro games on Facebook Marketplace . Trying to find good deals. It is a disease.
- Claude Code . Unironically. I built this entire website with the help of Claude Code. I never thought I'd be able to do something like that. It changed how I think about what I'm capable of building.
