The Situation
Jai Long is a business coach for creative professionals, specifically wedding photographers. He had a TikTok account with 216 followers, 830 likes, and content that was beautifully produced but had zero strategic architecture. His videos were averaging around 400 views. The production quality was there, but the content system wasn't.
The Approach
This was a ground-up build. I designed the entire content identity from scratch, centered on three pillars:
1. Positioning clarity: We tightened his bio and content thesis to "Business coach for creatives." Simple, searchable, and immediately clear to TikTok's algorithm.
2. Format library: I created multiple recurring formats including "30 Seconds with Jai" (quick-hit advice), podcast clip highlights, debate-style content like "Should You Work For Free?", and personal story hooks.
3. Podcast-to-short-form pipeline: Jai had a podcast with great material sitting unused. I built a system to identify the highest-value clips, edit them for short-form, and distribute them with platform-native packaging.
The Results
In 60 days, Jai generated 655,945 total views. He went from 216 to 3,525 followers, a 1,532% increase. His breakout video hit 106,600 views, with additional videos reaching 22.7K, 13.3K, and 11.4K views.
More critically, Jai now had a system he could run independently. The format library, the podcast clip pipeline, and the content calendar were designed to be self-sustaining.
